Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms apply to the MakanCloud website (makancloud.com), trial and paid accounts, and the marketing tools MakanCloud uses to run its own social-media accounts. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. MakanCloud is operated by Master Taste Pte Ltd (Singapore, UEN 202513400M).
The service
MakanCloud is a cloud operations platform for Singapore F&B businesses, covering POS, QR self-ordering, central-kitchen ordering and delivery, scheduling and HR. The scope of each module, the plans and the prices are as described on the Features and Pricing pages and at sign-up. We may change features as the product evolves; material changes are announced on the website or inside the account in advance.
Signing up starts a free trial; no credit card is needed during the trial. When the trial ends you can continue on a plan at the published price. Accounts that do not choose a plan stop working and their data is handled as described under "Data and privacy".
Accounts and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 and authorised to accept these terms on behalf of the business you register. Your administrators manage the account: keep sign-in credentials safe, and treat actions taken under the account as taken by you or people you authorised.
You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, to infringe the rights of others, to attack or disrupt the system, to bypass access controls, to scrape data in bulk, or to resell the service. We may suspend an account on detecting abuse and will notify you where reasonable.
Subscriptions, payment and invoices
Paid plans are billed monthly at the prices on the Pricing page (Singapore dollars, plus GST where required). Subscription charges are collected by our subscription provider, which issues electronic invoices. Overdue accounts receive reminders and, after a grace period, become read-only or are suspended.
Payment channels used by your outlets to collect from customers (for example PayNow or card terminals) are provided by the respective payment providers and settle directly to your merchant account. MakanCloud does not collect or hold outlet takings.
Data and privacy
The menus, orders, inventory, staff and customer data you enter remain yours. We process them only to provide and improve the service and to meet legal obligations, and never sell them or use them for advertising. Details are in the Privacy notice (/privacy).
Data from different tenants is logically isolated and backed up regularly. After an account ends, data is deleted or anonymised within the retention periods stated in the Privacy notice; you can export exportable data before that, or ask us for help.
Third-party services
The service relies on third-party providers for cloud infrastructure, email and payments, each governed by its own terms. "MakanCloud Publisher", the marketing tool we use to run our own social-media accounts, uses YouTube API Services solely to manage MakanCloud's own YouTube channel. Its use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms); how data is handled is described in the Privacy notice.
Availability and liability
We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available and provide mechanisms such as offline POS for network interruptions, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance.
To the extent permitted by law, MakanCloud's liability for indirect, business or data losses arising from use of or inability to use the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop renewing or ask us to close the account at any time. We may terminate the service if you materially breach these terms and do not remedy the breach after notice. Terms concerning data survive termination.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction. The English version prevails; the Chinese version is provided for reference. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
